Nature to touch, smell, and taste during an herb excursion in the Irsental

On a herb-gathering excursion near Irrhausen, you’ll explore the diverse natural landscape of the Irsen Valley with “Herb Witch” Rosi, engaging all your senses, and learn many interesting facts about the versatile uses and effects of wild herbs and medicinal plants. The herb expert will show you where and how to find medicinal and edible plants, how they can enrich your diet, and what soothing properties are found in herbs, flowers, and berries.

The herb excursion starts at the Irsental hiking parking lot on the B410 and follows the 1.4-kilometer-long, barrier-free, easy-access trail around the reservoir. Afterward, the tour continues to Rosi’s farm garden, where she’ll showcase spice, tea, and medicinal plants and offer a tasting of wild herbs. A recipe booklet will be provided.
An interesting experience that unlocks the secrets of nature.
