Annual exhibition Kunstkreis Beda

The Beda Art Circle was founded in 1982 by Dr. Hanns Simon. The association includes well-known artists from the region. The Art Circle’s activities offer a platform for artists—especially those who do not consider themselves professional artists—to exhibit their work. For example, at the large annual exhibition featuring approximately 100 works (paintings, drawings, etchings, sculptures), which have been previously reviewed by a panel of experts. In addition, the art circle organizes a small exhibition once a year featuring themed works in rotating exhibition spaces.

The art circle’s mission is to promote the artistic development of its members through courses and lecture series. Some members themselves lead such courses at the Bitburg Adult Education Center or at Haus Beda. In collaboration with the Cultural Association of the City of Bitburg, trips to exhibitions or art venues are also offered. In keeping with the wishes of the Kunstkreis’s founder, this exhibition has become a permanent fixture in Haus Beda’s program for many years.

The opening of the Beda Art Circle’s annual exhibition will take place on Sunday, January 31, 2027, at 11:00 a.m.
