This museum tells one of the most exciting evolutionary stories. The Earth had already existed for thousands of millions of years before a green revolution created the basis for life as we know it about 400,000 years ago.
The "Waleswilere" museum is located in the "Haus des Gastes" and houses numerous finds from the Roman villa on the Hüttenberg, but also many loans and gifts from private collectors.
The Bitburg Tower of Bells was donated by Bitburg’s Trade Union. At five after the hour, the bells play a German Folk Song. The doors then open up and depict figures of the local tradesmen and their crafts.
