Around Kordel you will find a variety of wild-romantic rock formations and caves. Visit, for example, the Klausenhöhle, the Genovevahöhle or the Butzerbach Valley.
In countless twists and turns, the Our winds through the slate slopes of Islek. From the observation point at Waldhof Falkenstein, there is a fantastic view of the notable bend of the Our Valley with the Falkenstein Castle.
In the chapel there are three sculpture groups: the Entombment group from 1643, the Lamentation, or "Holy Grave" group, and the Resurrection group created in 1750.
