Pay more attention to the moment, forget the stress of everyday life, calm your body and mind - the Irrel mindfulness trail invites you to do just that.
The Mindfulness Trail in Irrel is accessible again! The floods in July 2021 had severely damaged the path and the information boards, but now the circular path can be used again.
Over two kilometers at 11 stations, the path invites you to live in the here and now with various exercises and to pay more attention to the moment.
The starting point is "Auf dem Werth", with parking spaces nearby.
The basic idea behind mindfulness: relaxation starts in the mind. Simple exercises are designed to help reduce everyday stress and make you more aware of the world. For this reason, the Southern Eifel Nature Park, together with the "Hand in Hand for Irrel" initiative, has created a mindfulness trail in Irrel.
At Station 1, for example, the focus is on breathing. How does your own breathing feel? Does the body relax by concentrating on breathing? How does your breathing change? The mindfulness trail is also a children's trail, as the alder leaf "Erli" has tips for children at the stations.
